I am new to sex work within the last year or so. I went on Bayswans site a few weeks ago to see if there was any sort of organization for events or such and I ran onto the "whores college" of 2005. I thought it was 06 and started planning for it, then I re-read it and noticed it was an old post.
Does anyone have any info as to why there is no Whores College this year? Is there anything in the makes. I wish this world didn't have to be so sneaky and covert. Are there any events going on for Whores rights?

Go to the Center for Sex and Culture web site- they teach classes there on all sort of thigs. There might be one that covers what you are looking for. -

but it was not as heavily promoted as the 2005 one (and, as such, attendance was low).
The 2005 one was heavily promoted as part of the SW Film Festival (previously) but that only happens every 2 years. This year there was no SW film fest so the Whore College promotion was solo.
I recorded some footage from Whore College '06 and hope to give it to someone to make it available on the web soon.
You might want to get on the email list at: www.sexandculture.org and also get on Scarlot Harlot's email list from bayswan. Then you will hear about the happenings there.
