There is a petition floating around San Francisco to put an initiatvie on the ballow to decriminilize prostition. Anybody know anything about it? I think the ESPU-CA is doing it.

Honestly, I'm not too interested in anything the ESPU does until and unless several other sex workers or sex workers rights groups get behind it.

In my experience "the ESPU" is generally one or two individuals. In the media a group "name" comes across as some big group but in this case, as I said, the ESPU seems to be composed of only one or two individuals.

Unlike some of the other sex workers rights groups they don't appear to have any real membership base of sex workers or consult with other groupe before they just run off and go running to the press stirring up things that could impact everybody.

    Just my 2 cents...

I would recommend attending the ESPU's labor "sex workers rights" film festival which is sometimes held about once a year in the Mission though. Some good movies in that if you haven't seen them yet.
