I'm having drama with a wannabe john who's physically threatening me, and it occurred to me- is there a place online where we can check out emails or something, and see if there are any positive/negative reviews of johns? Sort of like the redbook thing they have for escorts.

There used to be for the Bay Area. Sexxxworkers.com but it ws free and closed after a year. Any ideas of how to support something like that and keep the LE and johns off if it?

In my ignorance, I was unaware of the need. I would be happy to host a wiki for this. It will take me a bit to get it running, however. From what I can see, the domain (Sexxxworkers.com) is available.

Yes because it was never renewed. However a wiki may not be the best solution.

The problems are such that the best solution is an sql database. You have to match several aliases and several emails and several phone numbers to one person. Oh having a photo handy on-line would be cool too. The problem johns are not static they know they have to move around in the internet domain to kep from being identified. So identifying them quickly means lots of info per person.

It is also required that the site have a secure login to keep the johns from seening themselves and retaliating against any providers.

I've got a decent amount of bandwidth, and a webserver. But what you describe--while entirely reasonable--is beyond my administrative abilities.

Unfortunatly if it is open to the public then a lot of providers won't want to post. Defeats the purpose. And if it dosn't identify the bad people fast then it gets a bad rep. and again noone will post. It is kind af an all or nothing service.

Oh who does your hosting. I am looking for a good offshore hosting service. I want to put up a political site and want to be in a country that doesn't honor the casual us gov. requests to give up all information about a website.

Your host probably supplies you with MySQL it is something that you will find usefull to use in the future for more complex sites. Just a suggestion.
