If I go out in the tenderloin, and get picked up for prostitution, what do the P.O.'s genderally do? Charge you with an infraction, or a misdemeanor? Do they arrest, or just cite?

My information may be out of date, but in the Tenderloin, I'd be surprised if you were hassled at all. I've seen drug busts there, but mostly I think the cops just show the flag.

If, however, you were to be busted, they'd probably give you a ride. San Francisco cops constitute their own gang, so this doesn't necessarily mean you'd encounter the courts.

    This is what I heard

They will try to scare you to plead guilty to pros charge. They could say all kinds of things include lying to you.
Don't say anything more than your name and your rank, usually you will be dismissed.

Also I heard people meet other people in DIVAS ( disclaimer: I am not referring to any illegal activities)
If is warmer inside and people are friendly.
